TRAFFIC REPERCUSSIONS DUE

TO LAUNCHING OF RCC SLABS

ON SUBURBAN BRIDGES

Due to launching of RCC slabs on various bridges in Mumbai suburban section, Western Railway services will be affected partially during the night hours only so that the passengers do not have to face much inconvenience.

Traffic repercussions on 27^th / 28^th May, 2009:

1. Following trains will be worked on down through line between Mumbai Central & Mahim and will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Elphinstone Road & Matunga Road stations due to non-availability of platform. Also 12-car services will take double halt at Lower Parel Platform No.3:

BO 965 leaving Churchgate at 0.08 hrs on 27^th May, 2009

BO 967 leaving Churchgate at 0.17 hrs

VR 969 leaving Churchgate at 0.22 hrs

BO 971 leaving Churchgate at 0.30 hrs

BO 973 leaving Churchgate at 0.40 hrs

VR 977 leaving Churchgate at 0.50 hrs

BA 979 leaving Churchgate at 0.54 hrs

BO 981 leaving Churchgate at 1.00 hrs on 28^th May, 2009

VR 13 leaving Churchgate at 4.15 hrs

BO 15 leaving Churchgate at 4.27 hrs

BO 17 leaving Churchgate at 4.40 hrs

VR 19 leaving Dadar at 4.56 hrs

BO 23 leaving Churchgate at 4.50 hrs

BO 25 leaving Mahalaxmi at 5.12 hrs

BO 31 leaving Churchgate at 5.05 hrs

2. Train No.VR944 leaving Virar at 0.05 hrs will be regulated at Mahim station.

3. AD2 leaving Andheri at 4.04 hrs and BO4 leaving Borivali at 3.50 hrs will be worked on Up through line between Mahim & Mumbai Central and will not halt at Matunga Road, Elphinstone Road, Lower Parel & Mahalaxmi stations.

Traffic repercussions on 28^th / 29^th May, 2009:

· Train No.242 Viramgam Passenger and 2928 Vadodara Express will be delayed by 15 to 20 minutes on 29^th May, 2009.

· Train No.9020 will be regulated at Goregaon for some time on 5^th line till removal of block.

Traffic repercussions on 29^th / 30^th May, 2009:

· Train No.242 Viramgam Passenger, 9020 Dehradun Express and 9038 Avadh Express will be delayed by 15 to 20 minutes on 30^th May, 09.

· Following suburban services will be partially cancelled between Malad & Borivali and vice versa:

BO 945 leaving Churchgate at 23.21 hrs on 29^th May, 2009

BO 953 leaving Churchgate at 23.40 hrs

BO 10 leaving Borivali at 04.16 hrs on 30^th May, 2009

BO 32 leaving Borivali at 05.02 hrs

Traffic repercussions on 1^st / 2^nd June, 2009:

· Train No.2927 Vadodara Express will be dealt on PF No.6 at Borivali on 2^nd June, 2009.

· Train No.242 Viramgam Passenger, 9020 Dehradun Express and 9038 Avadh Express will be delayed by 15 to 20 minutes on 2^nd June, 2009.

· Following suburban services will be partially cancelled between Malad & Borivali and vice versa:

BO 945 leaving Churchgate at 23.21 hrs on 1^st June, 2009

BO 953 leaving Churchgate at 23.40 hrs

BO 10 leaving Borivali at 04.16 hrs on 2^nd June, 2009
